Alana N. Williams has over 10 years of experience in the criminal justice system, specializing in law enforcement and investigations. In 2009, Alana earned her APOSTC (Alabama Peace Officer’s Standards and Training Commission) Certification through Montgomery Police Academy (Alabama).
In addition to serving her community as a deputy sheriff and police officer, Alana has been a collegiate criminal justice instructor at her alma mater, Alabama State University, since 2013. Alana also possess an Instructor Development Certification from the FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation). Alana’s educational background consists of a M.S. in Criminal Justice from Faulkner University and a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Alabama State University.
Although born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, Alana has called Montgomery, Alabama, her home for many years. Alana is a mother of one child, James, who is autistic, and she enjoys family time and traveling with her son.
